Because everyone is at a different stage in life and has different needs, I have separated the sections into fundamentals and advanced categories. They might not all apply to you because of your lifestyle/where you are at, but I’m sure you get the gist!

There are so many power tools out there! From drills to saws to even mini leaf blowers! I use the drill, impact driver, sander, and circular saw often. The light, oscillating tool, and mini leaf blower do come in handy though!

Hand Tools
Personally, I like the kit my husband and I received as a wedding gift because it’s so convenient! I will say, we have an extra tape measure and screwdriver handy in case we need to measure something or open a paint can without taking out the whole kit. Overall, many of these tools come in handy when I’m tackling my DIY projects!

We use our shop vac all the time! It’s so nice for those areas that need cleaning, but we don’t want to use our everyday vacuum.

If you have a yard, you’ll need the tools to landscape it! My husband and I LOVE our gorilla cart! It’s similar to a wheel barrel, but instead of pushing it, you pull it.

I would never recommend something that I would not want myself though, so the items on this list that I don’t already own are items that I’m hoping to get shortly!
