FREE Printable and Fillable Recipe Cards Overview

These printable recipe cards are a little different from the other free printable cards because they are fillable. To explain, I added fillable text boxes to these cards using Adobe InDesign so anyone can fill them via a computer.

For those of you who want to fill them in by hand, you can still do so by just printing the cards on stock paper. I found this stock paper to be what I needed. I wanted something a little thicker than paper but not so thick that I had to change the settings on the printer.

Because I am a sentimental person in a perfect world, I would have loved to fill these recipe cards by hand. But if I am honest, the thought of doing more than 3 of these cards by hand seems like a lot of work and time. Plus, my handwriting would look better on the beginning cards and slowly get worse on the later ones.

For example, the font I saved the interactive recipe card carries over to Google Chrome but not Firefox. There’s no way around it, but you should be fine if you continue to use Google Chrome.

Fill in the Free Fillable Recipe Card

After you have the fillable recipe card opened, you can fill it out! It’s straightforward, and I’ve included a screenshot of what my fillable card looks like.

Print the Recipe Card

Once you have filled out the recipe card, you can either save it or print it. The blue box does leave once you print it, so you do not have to worry if you want to fill these out by hand.

For my project, I have this guillotine which makes it so easy to cut the cards out for my recipe box. Please note that this card is 4″x 6″ in the event you need specific dimensions for your recipe box. My recipe box is a standard size and the recipe cards fit perfectly!
