7 Items to Include in Your Bathroom Tray Décor
Welcome! I will discuss the 7 items to include in your bathroom tray décor! There is a mix of decorative and functional items on this list. Some even serve as both functional and decorative! The best part is there are endless possibilities and combinations, so you can create a bathroom tray that fits your needs the most. You might be looking for something simple to keep in the half bathroom vs. something that serves a functional or decorative use in the master bathroom. This list is versatile, so whatever you’re looking for, I’m sure there is something that will inspire you!

Bath Salts
Obviously, if this is for a half bath or a bathroom that doesn’t have a bathtub, then this might not be the best option for you. But, if you like to take baths, have a luxury bathtub, or just like the look of bath salts in a jar, then you should consider adding this to your tray or basket.
Hair Elastics
Your guests might thank you if you have some hair elastics available for them to use. If you’re anything like me and have the occasional guest asking for a hair elastic, you might have to go searching. Because what ends up happening is I buy a new package of hair elastics, and somehow (in a short amount of time) I end up with one left. I’m not sure where the others went… I guess I assume they have evaporated. Pretty sure at least one of them ended up in the bottom of a bag or purse, only to be discovered years later. As for the one elastic that doesn’t end up disappearing, I’ll find myself using it until it stretches so much it breaks. Then the cycle repeats. So, if you have some set aside for others to use, you might thank yourself later.
Chapstick or Moisturizer
I would only include Chapstick on the bathroom tray if it’s in your personal bathroom. This is a functional item, but having it, conveniently located makes life that much easier. If you include moisturizer in your bathroom and it’s a bathroom that your guests use, make sure it’s in a bottle with a pump vs. a jar.
Q-tips or Cotton Balls
You can’t go wrong with including some Q-tips or cotton balls! Especially if you put them in a cute jar. This is an item that’s both decorative and functional in my book. Either way, it will look great in a bathroom tray or basket!
Nicely Folded Face Towels
I love the look of face towels rolled up in a fancy way! If you decide to go this route and have enough room in the basket, I recommend including 3 towels. Whenever trying to stylize something, an odd number of the item you are working with is typically the best way to go.
Greenery
Add a bit of greenery, like eucalyptus as a simple bathroom décor piece. You can either put a sprig off to the side like I did on mine, or you can add it to a vase.
Candle
Adding a candle will give a peaceful vibe. In full disclosure, I rarely burn candles, but I like using them as a decorative item. The sky’s the limit with candles because there are many different types. Plus, if you want to incorporate a specific color, a candle is your best bet because you can get it in whatever color you want.
